By using the app you agree to these terms. Vogeltrek Radar is developed and operated from the Netherlands.
The service
Vogeltrek Radar turns KNMI radar data into an indication of bird migration. Measurements and forecasts may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. The service is intended for nature observation, not aviation, navigation, safety or other decisions where damage could occur.
Plus subscription
Plus is an automatically renewing subscription. The current price, term and any trial are shown by the App Store or Google Play before purchase; the store price governs. After a trial, the selected plan is charged and renews automatically unless cancelled within the store's stated period.
Manage or cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Payment, cancellation and refunds are handled by the store where you purchased and are also subject to that store's terms.
External measurement sources
Measurements come from external sources, mainly the KNMI radar composite. We do not operate these sources. If a source changes, is temporarily unavailable or is discontinued, the service may work in a reduced or different way, or parts of it may disappear. We will then adapt the app as well as we can and tell you in the app what changes.
If such a change makes Plus permanently and clearly worse, or if we can no longer provide Plus, you get a pro-rata refund for the paid period you miss as a result. If we can no longer provide Plus at all, we first stop sales and automatic renewal and tell you in the app. On Google Play we issue the refund ourselves. On the App Store only Apple can issue refunds; you request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If that does not work, email us.
Availability and fair use
We may change or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, outages, source changes or misuse. You may not disrupt the service, bypass security or automatically republish its data without permission.
Data and liability
Radar data: KNMI, CC BY 4.0. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by use, temporary unavailability or decisions based on a measurement or forecast. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
